B. COURSE DESCRIPTION
International Business and Trade is a course that will dwell on the theoretical framework of global commerce, monetary system, financial environment, legal environment of international trade and foreign investment as well as government policies and practices covering the role of national and international organizations
C. COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. Develop the skills and knowledge on the complex mechanisms and issues in international business and trade , necessary for a realworld policy as business stakeholders , Accountant and/or Policy makers and planners;
2. Develop a critical knowledge of recent research in some key areas of business trade operations whether national or international.
3. Understand comprehensively the interface between the different International Business theories, models and methodologies; and
4. Appreciate the role of the society, private enterprise and public policy makers in achieving higher economic efficiency

(Note: For 1st Semester, AY 2023-2024, we are implementing FULL Face-to-Face / Onsite Classes except those authorized by the College Dean. Class schedules will be released on or before August 2, 2023. If you intend to change your approved schedule, you have to fill-up the Change Schedule form (downloadable form) to be submitted at least 3 days before the new schedule, and for approval of the Associate Dean and the and the College Dean.

The above Assessment Weight is the general policy. However, you may propose your own assessment weight, subject to the recommendation of the Associate Dean and approval of the College Dean.
Final Exams can be a Final Project or Final Paper or a Major Performance Task that covers all the learnings for the entire semester for said subject.
